RM have decided in conjunction with SWGfL to postpone the firewall update that was scheduled to take place tonight 15th February 2011. The revised date is to be advised, and schools will be informed of the new dates shortly by email.

 

Information has been obtained from RM that changes made to the core networking equipment overnight have been rolled back successfully, and connectivity to the region has been fully restored.

 

There is currently an intermittent internet problem affecting services for all Devon, Plymouth and Torbay schools. SWGfL have their senior engineers working on a finding a resolution. This website will be updated as we have more information.

 

There is a problem with RM Easymail this morning. Some users will be unable to access their emails. RM are working on the problem and hope to have a resolution shortly. For further information visit the Support page at:

The issue described below has now been resolved by SWGfL and users should be able to get into emails now – 9.15 Thursday 3 Feb

Schools are experiencing some logging in problems where they recieve an error message asking for a password.

South West Grid for Learning is aware of the issue and is working on a solution as a matter of urgency.

On Wednesday 02nd February the ScoMIS Service Desk will be closed from 10:00 am until 12:30pm. This is to allow for a ScoMIS Staff training event.
