Never have Schools held more data about their pupils, students and staff, and at no time has this data been more in demand by Teachers, Governors and Parents. Schools will need to develop appropriate processes to ensure they are compliant with data protection legislation and security guidance. Becta has produced detailed guidance for Schools on information security, covering a wide range of technological and implementational changes. ScoMIS have worked with teams in Devon to produce the program for these workshops.

These workshops will look at the legal definitions of data, give opportunities to identify risks in schools, look at roles within school, show ScoMIS
